South East Europe improved virtual accessibility through joint initiatives facilitating the rollout of broadband networks
The SIVA project

SIVA aims to deliver tangible and long-term structural changes on virtual accessibility strategies in partners' territories. Specifically, partners' virtual accessibility and broadband planning strategies will be improved through the project activities that will provide evidence on:

  • the quality of experience with broadband access in South East Europe,
  • the most cost-effective technological solutions to expand broadband coverage, and
  • the cost savings, simplicity and speed of deployment that can be achieved through sharing infrastructures.

The SIVA project is being funded under Priority Axis 3 – Improvement of the Accessibility of the South East Europe Programme, achieving the corresponding objectives through the Area of Intervention (AoI) 3.2 – Develop strategies to tackle the 'digital divide'.
