Law and Internet Foundation works for the development of the legislation of public relations in the digital environment and for the introduction of new technologies in the judiciary and the legal professions, and in the work of the public sector. Within its goals is the support of the state, professional organizations and non-governmental sector.
The Foundation carries out projects in the field of telecommunications and information technologies, electronic governance, electronic commerce, electronic documents and electronic signatures, etc.
The experts of the Foundation have participated in the legislation development process of the contemporary Bulgarian ICT, inter lia, the Electronic Commerce Act, the Electronic Governance Act, the Commercial Register Act, the Electronic Communications Act, the amendments of the E-documents and E-signatures Act and the secondary legislation on its implementation, the cyber-crimes section of the Criminal Code, and many other acts of primary and secondary legislation.
EUinter.net, or Roaming free mobile broadband Europe, is based in Denmark and is a part of DDGroup. As any other, international roaming agrreement, DDGroup (EUinter.net) is using the established mobile broadband networks across Europe. It works closely together with all teelecoms that has agreements with. In their own support dept anyone can find best university educated experts available and ofcourse we also pull on the expertise available with the telecoms.
Society for Electronic Communications is an industry organization of the alternative telecom operators in Bulgaria.
SEC has a mission to establish and further develop non-discriminatory and fair competitive market in the field of electronic communications (electronic communications market.).
SEC actively defend networks neutrality and consumers' rights to free and full access to the Internet and to all the achievements of technical progress in communications.
SEC members are the representatives of all the leading alternative operators in Bulgaria. The activities of the organization are concentrated in the field of telephone services, broadband Internet access and Internet services as a whole, WIMAX technology, cable TV, IPTV, high speed data transfer and etc.
The Telecommunications Association is founded on April 10th., 2002 as non-profit, non-governmental organization. It's members are already 50 reputable legal and natural persons, among which recognized public telecommunications operators, international and local manufactures and suppliers of communications equipment, legal and telecom consultants, IT and Internet businesses, the Sofia University "St Kliment Ohridski" and the Technical Universities of Sofia as well the New Bulgarian University, the University of National and World Economy, the Higher College of Telecommunications and Post. The Telecommunications Association target is to combine efforts, strengths and potentials of as many as possible participants at the Bulgarian telecommunications market.
Key objectives of the Telecommunications Association are:
- Co-operation in elaborating of the new legal framework,
- Consulting the national policy and regulatory authorities in telecommunications market regulations,
- Participation in EU fostered programs,
- Promoting an improved information environment for telecommunications players.
- Enhancement of qualification and professional training of its members' staff,
The Association supports the business and professional relationships of its members, their ongoing dialogue with governmental authorities as the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, the Commission on Regulation of Communications, etc. The Association's would like to bring in local and foreign experts in Committees on issues like information technologies, R&S, legal, economic and others, directly relating to its members' activities. Furthermore, the Association plans to network others in the organizing of workshops, symposia and seminars, thematic exhibitions and other forms fostering the development of Bulgaria's telecommunications industry.
