On 4 and 5 April in Vienna, the second meeting of the European Programme SIVA, in which the Regional Association of Local Governments of Western Macedonia is leading a partnership eleven (11) members from Southeast Europe, was held.
The kick-off meeting of the European project SIVA (South East Europe improved virtual accessibility through joint initiatives facilitating the rollout of broadband networks), which is funded by the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme, took place in Kozani on the 27th and 28th of November 2012.
On June 7th 2013, in the EU Info center, Skopje the YES Business Incubator presented the SIVA project. The programme included topics as the needs for the project, the goals and results expected, the legal framework for provision of broadband services, migration towards the “new generation networks” from a regulatory perspective, current situation and broadband market challenges as well as information for the current broadband services in the country.
On 8th of October 2013 in Bourgas, Bulgaria the third meeting of the SIVA project was organized, in which the representatives from the Municipality of Bourgas hosted the project partners from the consortium.
The workshop was held on the 9th October 2013 in Cultural centre “Sea Casino”, located in Burgas, Bulgaria. This is the first of two workshops to be organised in the context of this activity. Responsible for the organisation of the workshop was PP3 Burgas Municipality.
