Transnational Conference for the Improvement of Virtual Accessibility through joint initiatives facilitating the rollout of broadband networks in South East Europe


The SIVA Consortium is pleased to invite you to the final Conference of the project South East Europe improved virtual accessibility through joint initiatives facilitating the rollout of broadband networks, to be held in Crete (Greece) and hosted in the premises of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The two-day event will be held on September 16th and 17th 2014 and will involve exchange of experiences among Regional Associations and local governments in successful policy making for the improvement of digital convergence and the development of broadband services in the region of South East Europe.  

 

The scope of the event is to evaluate the project’s final outcome and identify the challenges and opportunities arising from the new digital agenda and the accessibility strategies identified within SIVA project.  

 

This Final Conference, will be a unique opportunity for key stakeholders to initiate exchange of know – how and experiences, debate on best ways to facilitate development of broadband services and discuss translational issues and European policies that foster the implementation of improved digital accessibility strategies in SEE region.
