SIVA Planning Tool

The SIVA Planning Tool provides a tool for effectively identifying areas where development of information and communication technology is needed. It uses the findings of the census of virtual accessibility to allow discovering areas where the development should proceed. At the same time, it allows to have a good insight to the actual costs. The SIVA Planning Tools allows simple but powerful decision making.

A common scenario where it may be used may be the following:

Experts from municipalities and experts from internet service providers are meeting in order to discuss the bad virtual accessibility in rural regions. They are trying to identify rural regions where it is profitable to invest in information and communication technology because there is an unmet demand for broadband.
